Elisabeth Hagood

Elisabeth J. Hagood is one of the Firm's founding partners and serves as the Criminal Defense Practice Group Leader for the Firm.  Ms. Hagood began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit and during her tenure there directly handled the prosecution and trial of hundreds of criminal cases. After years representing the State of Florida, she entered into private practice, where she put her significant trial experience to work defending individuals accused of a wide range of crimes.  Over the span of three decades, Ms. Hagood has defended individuals accused of crimes ranging from Criminal Traffic offenses and DUIs to Felony Manslaughter and Sex Crimes.   Ms. Hagood has also represented high profile clients in complex cases scrutinized by media attention.

Ms. Hagood is an Orlando native who obtained her undergraduate degree at Rollins College in Winter Park and went on to attend the University of Florida's College of Law. Outside of the practice of law, Ms. Hagood enjoys spending time with her four adult children, her two granddaughters, her dogs, and her horse, Alibi.
